In 1998, Brett moved up to Alaska to be close to his parents, as his Dad’s health

was failing. Shortly after moving, Brett started researching the Internet for

something new to do in business.

After 3 months of research, God gave Brett a 4-part hybrid business model, that

would change the way traditional sales was being done. At the time Brett called it

‘Virtual Sales’. Nowadays it is called ‘Remote Sales’.

Towards the end of 2000, after experiencing some initial success becoming the

top sales rep and sales team builder, deploying this hybrid business model along

with a rudimentary remote sales software system on a project involving one of Zig

Ziglar’s companies, Brett read the book God@Work by Rich Marshall, which

someone had anonymously sent him.

While reading God@Work, Brett had a Matrix-like download experience that

lasted several weeks, during which God gave Brett ideas, strategies, and a

gameplan for launching a global Christian-principled, business network along with

creating a next generation remote sales software system to facilitate it.

Shortly after launching in early 2001, while lying in bed on a Sunday morning, God

spoke into Brett’s spirit and said, “Go to church and get anointed with oil for

business.” Which he promptly did.

Not long afterwards, almost everything Brett was working on took off. And over

the next 2 years, Brett quickly became a global pioneer in remote sales, and one of

the top people in the world in his niche, all from Alaska. ‘Remote Sales’ went

mainstream during COVID.

In 2003, a Christian woman Brett had met several months prior at an airport in

Hawaii, called him up and told him, “I have a word from the Lord for you.” The

primary gist of the word was, “You are about to be abased, don’t fight it, or it will

take longer, but I have many things for you to do.”

A few months later in May 2003, Brett was a featured speaker for a company

where he was the primary driving force behind growing their sales from under

$200,000 a month to over $20 million a month in 2 ½ years, and making over

$300,000 a month in commissions.

Shortly before he was about to speak, Brett had the overwhelming realization,

that everything he was doing, was not the primary thing God was ultimately

calling him to do.

All those numerous projects and businesses Brett was involved with at the time,

were simply preparation and training for creating some type of global, Christian

business network in the future. But he was not sure exactly what.

The abasement, about which the woman had given him a word on a few months

earlier, started about a month later. And that was the beginning of when God

really started showing up in Brett’s life.

At the end of 2003, Brett was led to move to Lake Tahoe. In 2004, while on a

business trip in California, Brett asked God what the name was for this global

Christian business network he was being called to build.

God told him, “It’s the horn the Hebrews blew.”

Brett had no idea what that horn was called and had to ask a Christian business

associate. She told him it was called a shofar. And that was how the name for the

Shofar Global Network came to be.

In the spring of 2005, after a Faith in the Marketplace conference in Atlanta GA,

held by Os Hillman, a world leader in the Faith in the Marketplace Movement,

Brett visited a church, where Johnny Enlow was the pastor at that time.

The day before, Brett had asked Johnny to help him understand a word one of the

people in Johnny’s prophetic prayer team had given him at the conference. In the

middle of the church service Johnny called out Brett and said, “Brett I have a word

for you from the Lord. It’s time for you to go, go, go, you’ve been released.”

Several weeks later, through a series of divinely led events, Brett was abruptly led

to visit Moravian Falls, NC rather than fly back home from a trip to Florida, after

discussing the book The Final Quest by Rick Joyner with a good friend of his.

The first person Brett met with was a pastor. After sharing his story up until that

point, Brett wondered out loud if he was supposed to move to Moravian Falls. The

pastor told him, “You are supposed to move here, and what you are going to

do will start like wild fire and go around the globe”.

Brett moved to Moravian Falls shortly afterwards, living there from 2005 to 2012,

with a 11 month business trip out to NV and UT in between during 2007-2008.

In 2009, shortly after being led to do a 40 day, water only fast, God guided Brett

over a month and half period to write and research a document on 18 areas of

mass deception going on in the world. The document is more relevant today, than

it was 15 years ago.

The primary purpose of this document was to strongly emphasize the critical

importance of hearing God’s voice in order to operate in truth as the global

deception was all encompassing, affecting every aspect of society, and was only

going to get worse.

Brett named the 130+ page document the Shofar Global Manifesto. There was a

final section, which was the gameplan for the Shofar Global Network. But God

made it clear to Brett that it was not time to release it, so Brett removed it from

the Shofar Global Manifesto.

In 2010, after complaining to God, about a series of business projects that had not

come to fruition, God told him, “I have been having you go into the enemy’s camp

for the last 12 years to get the different pieces you will need for the Shofar Global

Network.”

After moving away from Moravian Falls in 2012, Brett had not given much

thought over the years to the Shofar Global Network, and just let it go.

Then in September of 2023, while living in Coeur d’Alene, ID, Brett had a dream

where he was wearing an iWatch, it rang with the name of a friend from

Moravian Falls, and God spoke into his spirit, “It’s time!”

The following month, October 2023, Brett was led to move to the Boise, ID area

with his wife and 3 youngest children. (They have 8 children).

A woman Brett had met in Moravian Falls in 2005, (who is now close to 90) and

has given him numerous words over the years, emailed Brett at the beginning of

2024, and told him that God has assigned her to him as an intercessor for the

entire year. Then started sending revelatory words on a regular basis.

In April 2024, she sent Brett a word that a prophet would be calling him soon. And

to wait for his call. A month later towards the end of May a prophet did in fact

call, and the next day he texted Brett that it was time to start the Shofar Global

Network.

Five days later, on a Friday around 6 am, Brett was woken up and God prompted

him that he needed to be in Moravian Falls, NC at a church service by 10:15 on

Sunday.

With 32 hours of drive time, Brett, his wife, Michelle, and their 3 youngest

children promptly left Boise and drove out to Moravian Falls, without stopping to

sleep, taking turns driving. They arrived at the church, 10 minutes before the

service started.

As they walked into the church, a friend of theirs who they had not seen since

they moved away from Moravian Falls in 2012, came up to them and said, “I don’t

normally go to church here, but God told me 15 minutes ago to come to church

here this morning.” He is involved with a large intercessory prayer group and will

be a significant part of the Shofar Global Network.

Brett’s family stayed with some other friends while they were in Moravian Falls

for 4 days. Right before we were leaving, the wife of the couple they stayed with,

brought out an old journal of hers, to show Brett’s youngest daughter how to

keep a journal.

As she opened her journal, a piece of paper fell out, with Brett’s name on the top

of it. On the paper was written down a number of things her husband and Brett

had discussed 15 years prior about the Shofar Global Network, and how he felt

he could be involved.
